Hailing from down South, Cooper grew up wanting to be a spy. Or a chemist. Instead, she graduated with a BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts. During her first week in the "big city" of New York, Cooper signed with two dream agencies. And didn't look back, working in numerous commercials, Indie Features, a short stint on daytime TV, and series regular roles in two pilots. Ms. Harris is now technically a left-coaster, but finds herself splitting her time equally, working in both LA and New York. Cooper is on the Board of the non-profit theatre organization Hidden Voices. She is passionate about traveling, painting, and surprising her incredible family in various (mostly pleasant) ways. In addition to her acting career, Cooper is an accomplished violinist and fiddler. As a visual artist, her award -winning paintings have toured the country. She is currently illustrating her second children's book.
